All competitors will register at the meet. We will use the same format as with the UH meets. $5 per event to compete.  Relays are 5$ per team.  All proceeds will be a donation to the UH Track Team UH Foundation account.  Competitors must register before the 1st call and check in before the last call.

 

This will be a USA Track & Field sanctioned meet with electronic timing.  Ribbons awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.   

USATF memberships will be required and available at the track.  It is $30 per calendar year and available on line at:  HYPERLINK "https://www.usatf.org/membership/application" https://www.usatf.org/membership/application.  Bring your USAT&F card with member number or printed receipt.  The USA T&F Membership requirement waived for UH students with a valid student ID Card. 

 

Hawaii USAT&F competitor numbers are not required but will be useful if you have and display them.  

 

The USAT&F Open Division is normally 19-29. Masters and Jr Olympics in Young Men/Women and Intermediates may compete in the Open division events but the performance will count only for the ribbons and results listing for the Open Division.  

 

USAT&F Masters: 5 year age divisions for masters starting at 30-34. We will use 10 yr age groups for relays.  

 

Relay cards will be at registration and turned in to the Clerk at the start.   

 

USA Track and Field Rules will apply.  Hurdle heights/spacings along with discus, javelin and shot put weights will be according to USA T&F Open & Masters divisions age group rules. There will be up to 6 attempts (3 trials & 3 finals) for Long Jump, Triple Jump and all throws.  

   

1/4 inch pyramid spikes only allowed. The UH starting blocks are state of the art and the only ones approved for use on the Cooke Field Track. Any other starting blocks must be inspected by meet officials prior to use.   

 

Parking; On Sunday mornings they may charge $3 if there is a baseball or softball game.

All times are approximate: all events will follow closely the previous event.

     

(*Note: Youth and above normally do 3K racewalk, but since this is the first year it is being offered, and every effort will be made to encourage participation, all ages will be limited to 1,500 meters.

HOW TO ENTER THE ALOHA STATE GAMES ONLINE:
 
Note #1: HMTC members enter the Aloha State Games as individuals, unattached. Disregard information about coaches, teams and registering a series of athletes.

Go to the site Aloha State Games Open/Masters
 
Then click on Enter the Meet
 
Then click on number two on the left, Add an Unattached Athlete to List, then click Continue at the bottom
 
Then fill out the information requested on that page. 
 
Then click Continue at bottom of page, and verify info.  If not correct, go back and correct info.
 
Click Continue and note PIN number.
 
Then click Next Step at bottom.  Then select ASG open and masters in drop down window (middle right) and clickcontinue.
 
Then click Add Athletes, add your information, and click Continue
 
Then select your events and put in your seed times/distances, and click continue
 
Verify your entries, and click continue
 
Select the fees to be paid box and click continue.
 
Select Pay On-Line Now and click continue.
 
Then fill out your credit card info (be sure to identify MC or Visa at beginning) and click submit
 
And you should receive all the confirmations and I will receive a copy.
